The "SENTENCES" - a new immersive experience has premiered in Prague
The “SENTENCES” project is an immersive dance theater that took place last November in the historical baroque Kaiserstein Palace in the heart of Prague.
The show was one of a kind experience telling a story through dance. Throughout the day there are time slots to see the show, in order to keep the audience as a small group of people, ensuring an intimate experience.
The story behind the “SENTENCES” is finding oneself in a world full of expectations and social pressure. Being able to discover who you really are and what makes you unique. A journey of self-acceptance and hope for harmony.
The storytelling took place in five rooms of the palace, each having its own narration, different light, music, costumes and overall mood. You were guided through this experience by two narrators, Alberto Gola a Brian Mihaliček, who introduced each room that you were about to experience and opened it with a poem.
The performance itself did not have words. You were immersed in the story by dance, light and music making it an unique experience for each attendee seeing and feeling everything in its own way.
The symbolic journey took you from witnessing the struggle with social expectations, personal relationships and internal conflicts, to finding a safe space of acceptance and a sense of belonging in the last room called “HOME”.
The whole experience was truly outstanding and unique. Every little detail was thought through, performed and delivered at high level making it an unforgettable night.
The “SENTENCES” project was created by the IONS event agency founders, Elen Taf and Anna Vinnikova. Elen Taf is a dancer and choreographer, created the entire concept and the script of the show, and together with Anna Vinnikova brought the vision to life.
Dancing part was choreographed by the talented group of people - Dominika Dee Červinková, Anna Poupová, Kateryna Lopakhtina, Alisa Shyk, Tereza Humlová a Gerel Uranzaya Doležalová, who are part of Brownies Dance Company. Many of them are also members of Vivid Dance Company who was one of the main sponsors of the event.
Music was produced by DASHXX a Laye Samp exclusively for the “SENTENCES” show.
Amazing costumes and make-up was the job of the stylist Alexandra Dergunova.
