The Magpaper Top 5 Brunch Places

True happiness can often be found in the little moments - and sometimes, a good brunch is all it takes! Whether you’re catching up with friends, enjoying a slow morning with your partner, or taking yourself on a well-deserved date, brunch isn’t just a meal - it’s an experience.

Prague has many amazing places to offer and if you’re on a hunt for one, MAGPAPER has you covered.

Here are our top 5 brunch spots that will make both you and your Instagram happy.

Eska

Location: Pernerova 49 186 00 Praha 8 /  Veletržní 290/42 170 00 Praha 7

Eska is a combination of a restaurant, bakery, and shop, where old techniques meet modern gastronomy. They’ve recently opened a second location in Letna and if you’re ever lost, just follow the scent of freshly baked bread.

With the open kitchen, you can see the chefs in action, crafting your meal from locally sourced ingredients, whether it’s pastries or a late breakfast. Keep an eye on their famous Bread 33 - the classic Czech loaf with golden, shiny, baked crust. And after a delicious brunch, don’t forget to stop by the store to spice up your kitchen with homemade products and farm goods.

Villa 63

Location: Hradešínská 63

With the warmer weather, Villa 63 is a perfect brunch gateway from the city noise. Hidden in a First Republic villa with a garden that’s almost 100 years old, there's a cozy spot for quality coffee and food. There are both inside and outside sitting areas, which you’ve probably seen on everyone’s Instagram story last summer. However, the aesthetics is not the only thing that has people coming . Villa 63 offers an understandable menu or in other words - comfort food with a twist. You can find both breakfast and afternoon options and the staff is always happy to present you with special offers and sweet treats.

Matilda

Location: Korunovační 923/17, 170 00 Praha 7

Matilda is a fantastic new Italian place located in Prague 7. And as some might say, serves one of the best tiramisus in town. The interior is minimalistic yet effortlessly stylish—muted tones, natural materials, and soft lighting that creates both a modern and cozy atmosphere.

It’s a walk-in-only spot and given its popularity, you might have to wait for a table, however, you can always count on their pastas, brunch plates, and a well-curated selection of wines and coffee.

Bistro Monk

Location: Michalská 20, 110 00 Staré Město

Right in the city center there’s a place that serves brunch all day long - because who says pancakes are just for breakfast?

Tucked away on Michalská Street, Bistro Monk serves everything from smoothie bowls to mimosas. The menu is fresh, colorful, and is made from local ingredients. They open bright and early at 8:30 AM, but it’s walk-in only, so be prepared to wait—it’s worth it. And if you’re planning a weekend visit, you can book a table at their second location, @bistromonk2.

Osada

Location: Osadní 35, 170 00 Praha 7-Holešovice

Tucked away in the heart of Holešovice, Osada is the place for peaceful brunch. Thanks to their garden area, it feels like a perfect escape. You can eat here all day long, from breakfast to brunch, to lunch and dinner. The sweets are baked in-house, and the bread comes from their friends at Eska. And if you're all about natural, high-quality ingredients, you're in the right place—Osada stocks everything from wines to house-made syrups.

No matter your brunch style—cozy and quiet, vibrant and social, or anything in between—Prague has a spot for you.

So next time you're craving great food and an even better atmosphere, grab yourself, your friends, or your partner, and don’t forget to tag MAGPAPER when you visit our recommendations.
